The property overall was really nice. Communication with the host was excellent. Super quick response and any requests were fulfilled right away. We had couple of issues though. When we go there, the kitchen had lots of ants. We called about it and they sent us any traps right away, but still wasn’t great. Second, was the parking. Supposedly you are able to fit 6 cars in the back, but the grass was grown over (which they had folks come and clean while we were there). With the trees in the yard, it was difficult to maneuver. Finally, we reached out about an early check, got approved and paid the fee. However the day of, when my sister and her baby showed up, the locks wouldn’t open. The host said there was some issue with the city doing work(which we didn’t see) and had to wait for our normal check in time. They refunded us the early fee, but still this was frustrating.

Property not as listed, no one willing to take responsibility. VRBO can only refund the VRBO service fee. Eventually they stop responding to emails and text messsages.

Very cold down stairs, very warm on second, hot on third floor, no access to 3rd floor from within and no laundry 1st floor.

We rented the house for my wife's 50th birthday. The first morning we woke up, there was mice feces on the bed and couch on the third floor. Understandably, my guest staying up there decided that they didn't want to stay the rest of the weekend. I contacted the host and there was nothing done to remedy this. I wanted a portion of my rental fee returned since I had guest leaving and again nothing was done to remedy this completely disgusting situation. Don't stay here!

Check in process was odd. I was told I’d get an email if we could get into the place early then all of a sudden a worker showed up and let us in.. if you’re renting the entire house the third floor has to be opened separately.. beware there are people who live in the basement that was not on the listing. In addition, we came home from our event to find the third floor door wide open, and this leads to the outside. Needless to say, we were a little shook. Upon realizing our stuff was OK we shut the door only to find that it did not lock so it had been open the entire time.There was a rain storm on Saturday, resulting in a huge wet patch on the ceiling and a huge wet spot on the bed, where one of my guest needed to stay. Then that evening, the two rooms up there affected by this rain the ceiling fans were randomly turning off and on… I’d say probably water damage, but I’m not an electrician. The lights would go on periodically and then go off as well. When I contacted Charley., first about the door being open, then about the wet spot.. there was absolutely zero urgency to come by the property and check to see that it was secure. The response was we’ll get maintenance to come on out and take a look. I guess that’s fine but our stay. was over the next day.I’ve been in touch with VRBO about this mess.. and they told me that someone was going to get in touch with me.. that is not happened. You bet I requested a refund… but have yet to get anything. Renters beware!
